Hi, it's my first message here.
My entire library is in xHE-AAC format (.mp4 container). There's a native Android support for this audio format, but FFMPEG doesn't support it. GMMP is neverthless able to play xHE-AAC files, which is absolutely terrific. I switched to GMMP for that reason more than one year ago. I noticed that GMMP doesn't play my files anymore. It seems to be a consequence of the recent update (3.3.1). There's no error message but playback doesn't start.
On the same phone I still have GMMP Classic installed (2.3.2) and playback is fine.
Could you take a look please?
Thanks for your support
EDIT: the issue may also occur with 3.3.0 as well (I was very busy these last weeks and I'm quite sure I haven't use GMMP for almost a month).

try enabling opensl. Otherwise i'll have to put in an option to enable the old AAC decoder (android's)

Fantastic: enabling openSL in GMMP 3.3.1 makes the playback working again! Many many thanks

great! still send me a sample file if you could. Ideally id like to be able to automatically select the correct decoder instead of forcing to have to manually enable opensl
