I can't create a Smart playlist in newest GMMP. When going backwards (through the backwards gesture or the top left arrow) it simply gets discarded.
Would be nice to get some sort of dialogue for this though (if playlist shall be saved or discarded when going backwards) and a "save" button.
What I also noticed, I can't edit the "rules" field within the auto dj settings tab. Seems like I set it some time ago but can't edit it anymore.
Another useful feature would be a floating button when in the Smart playlist or playlist tab to create a new playlist. The option in the menu is rather hidden.
Edit: I found that using the "*" in the Smart playlist Name results in this behavior. Without the "*" it can be regularly created.

The name is used for the filename and likely is not filtering out illegal characters. * Cannot be in filenames

Found another bug: When choosing active tabs for the library, somehow the activated tabs have wrong names (names from the other tabs).
When dragging the tabs however, the correct names show.

Gonna need wayyyy more detail on what you are doing and send in an error report. Tabs are 100% correct all the time on all test devices with the defaults. Are you renaming tabs? Reordering? Pinning a bunch of smart playlists? What do you mean by dragging the tabs? Are you talking about the text in the tab?

Sorry I'll explain it a little better (though not sure to get an error log, could take a logcat). When going in the library>select the three dots>customize>active tabs and dragging (reordering) the active tabs up and down. I've pinned multiple smart playlists there and somehow the smart playlists (active tabs) show names of the other pinned smart playlists. When dragging them (reordering) they start to show the correct names. It's only in that view though, within the library itself everything is correct.

so the issue is with the UI to reorder / customize the views and not the actual library tabs? Or are you saying that if you pin a smart playlist it shows incorrectly until you go into the customize UI and drag to reorder them. If thats the case if you just back out of the app and reload does everything display correctly (until you try to pin another smart playlist where you'd have to reload the UI again to fix it)
settings -> general -> send error report
It emails me all your settings / preferences (which is where the tab info is stored)

In latest version this cue file is still showing twice in the album library. Hi. Did you manage to have a look at tje cue file i sent over? briefly. nothing stood out as being incorrect. During the scan when a cue file is read in.. it'll make sure the actual filename referenced in the .cue is removed from the database.. leaving the pseudo "cue tracks", which actually reference the .cue file instead. the scanner should have naturally cleared out the single long track on its own

I dont see anything wrong with the cue and I cannot reproduce the issue myself I cannot fix issues I can't reproduce

The pinned smart playlists show correctly within the library.

What I also noticed, I can't edit the "rules" field within the auto dj settings tab. Seems like I set it some time ago but can't edit it anymore. This is still an error for me. It's stuck stating the name of a smartplaylist. When I click it nothing happens..

thats not an error. That is not a button / selectable. Its just showing what the current ruleset is, for info purposes. Turn off auto dj via now playing. If you want to reset the rules used just enable auto DJ via the 3 dot menu on the toolbar of any library view edit: this is also mentioned in the help page... gonemadmusicplayer.blogspot.com/p/help-settings-advanced-autodj.htmlRules This is not actually an option, but a display to show what ruleset AutoDJ is using to select songs.edit 2: a tip for everyone else.. the help button on every settings page in the app will take you to the appropriate web page for that group of settings, so you can find info about each setting very quickly
