Tag Support for WAV Format Files

I recently added some wav files for testing, usually I have ALAC. These were 44.1kHz 16bit files, tagged with id3v2.3 UTF-16. The tracks all play, but only show file names. All tags and artwork are blank, although other players are picking them up. Is there a limitation in taglib that prevents this currently from working in GMMP?

wav in taglib should support id3v2:

I dont know if i've ever tried it out tho. Why not compress to ALAC or FLAC? Having uncompressed wav is just a waste of space

I agree about space, I use ALAC typically to keep compatibility between Android and IOS devices. This was testing when another user was complaining on mp3tag that it didn’t work. I doubted it, but after trying it was actually the case. No biggy for me, just couldn’t see why, since taglib supports it.
