You need to grant write access to delete. Try editing tags of a file on the sdcard. It should bring up a google prompt to select the sdcard

there is no beta.. 3.2.8 is the latest, but glad you got it working

just an update. Im currently working on 3.3 which will basically just be some dependency updates (include ffmpeg to 5.0) and bug fixes. I expect it to be finished and in beta sometime in march. Google did approve GMMP for the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission, so SAF / scoped storage can be bypassed for now. Android's SAF/scoped storage apis would have made it impossible to play back certain file formats and would have broke cue and lrc file support, so I am really glad google approved the permission use.
