i would not be surprised if the amazon unlocker does not work since they change the signature of it. The google play version and the one bought through paypal work fine tho. no clue what you mean by "you dont think there is a search bar missing" no plans on adding thumbnails for tracks I'm sorry I meant there is not a search bar ....as in its missing Search was not added until alpha 3 |

Hi Kyle, I was just wondering if the "wrong audio playing" error I've been experiencing with these alphas is still being worked on, or if you needed any additional info or something (https://trello.com/c/6gUKSgIl/699-next-audio-source-not-always-set-correctly). I've been able able to consistently reproduce it using the settings I noted on 6/6 (http://gonemadmusicplayer.proboards.com/post/5211), but your latest update on Trello is from 7/11 and it says that you can't reproduce it. I just tried a data wipe and new scan in the newest Alpha 3 and the issue persists. I test it with the same set of tracks because they are short, but I've been able to reproduce it with any tracks I try. My library us almost 10,800 tracks, if that helps. Other than this issue, I can't think of any other bugs I've been having with the alphas that I haven't reported. Once ratings support comes, I will try to make the alpha my only music app to see what else I can find. i have not been able to reproduce it. i cannot fix something i cannot reproduce. What device do you have? Stock Nexus 6P on android 8.1.0 |

If i press a song in queue the song will be played immediately but the cover doesn't change. There is the cover Form last song in player.

I am in player view (big cover) then i go to Queue press a song an go back to player view song changes, cover not.

fyi if you have a song in your queue and it is removed from the device that is going to break a lot of things. Alpha 4 should be able to handle that (one of the main focus points is file deletion), but until then let it be known that it will cause issues.

Quick question - is the search functionality for various categories (like "songs" or "artists") limited to 5? I'm doing some searches where I should get more results, but there always seem to only be 5 max showing. (If it's limited to 5 "for our own good" then that's fine...just making sure I'm not doing this wrong!  ) |

(If it's limited to 5 "for our own good" then that's fine...just making sure I'm not doing this wrong! ) it works the same way as 2.x, search stays in preview mode (5 results per category) until the search button (on keyboard) is clicked.. which returns "full results". Technically i think i capped it at 1000 but search results that large is mostly useless. The reasons are mostly for performance (depending on the number of categories its running 3-8 database queries on thousands of records). It runs a search every time the text changes so you want that to return the results as fast as possible. At some point i'll probably add some tweaks like running the full search after X seconds of the search terms not changing, or just having an option to say how many results to return in the preview mode. For now i was just trying to get it close to what was in 2.x |

Perfect - agree, hitting the "magnifying glass" on the keyboard gives the rest of the results. Agree putting up some text like "preview mode...limited to 5 results" would help, but now that I know the secret, I've got what I need.

I've noticed that the Album Art in the "Main" player is cut off at the sides. Are you planning on making this customisable?

The UI has not been tweaked for all devices yet (wont be addressing that til sometime in the beta). Ideally it will not get cut off for any device. What phone do you have? There will also probably be an alternate version of the now playing screen that has the album art centered in the top portion of the screen not going all the way out to the edges.. similar to what spotify does/used to do (not sure how it looks now) i.ytimg.com/vi/U6lPtIWCr4w/maxresdefault.jpg |

Love the latest alpha release. Will be awesome when finished.
I noticed a bug however
The album art in the now playing screen is not properly sized like it is in version 2.x. Instead it is cropped on both sides. I assume this will be fixed in a later alpha release

Just noticed another bug.
The right hand scroll function in the album section does not work properly. It only lets you scroll down to N according to the letter popups. I have album artists included after that, up to Y for Yo La Tengo and Yazoo
