Just installed the alpha for the first time (3.0 Alpha 2b). HAven't had much time to deep dive, but on the surface it's looking and working great!! I had a hard time figuring out the various color options in the theme builder. Each time had to go back into the player and see what each combo does, and then back into the settings, and so on. It would be great to have a preview option. I set a dark material theme, with gray-scale colors for the primary color and primary dark - but in the side menu, the text of the selected item is very dark so hard to see the text. Can't see an option here to send you a screenshot. I can send by mail if you wish. dont choose a dark theme if you are going to use grey scale colors for the primary / primary dark. Sure a preview would be nice but its not a priority. I cannot test eveyr color combination so some will end up not working very well with the dark theme |

In the Settings > Scanner > Edit Scan Paths screen, the paths are displayed each as a single line of text. I have two items there that point to folders on my SD card. Their paths are long path but are 80% identical (same prefix). But because only one line of text is shown in the screen, they are cut short such that what is displayed on the screen looks makes them look identical. If I were able to see their full paths (2 lines of text or an option to expand) I'd be able to tell them apart. noted.. thanks for the feedback |

I've noticed in beta 3 that tapping the previous track button directly plays the previous track. In version 2, the first press rewinds the playing track and a second press then plays the previous track. I hope we'll get an option in the settings to choose between the two. It may seem like a small thing but that's the reason I stopped using rocket player. Users were split on this, and devs just changed the behavior to just straight play the previous track. You can add an option in the settings to choose either (like in BlackPlayer, Poweramp, etc.) beta 3??? anyway as i've said many times in my posts, the alpha is not feature complete and every behavior from 2.x has not yet been added Can we have this in the next beta, if it's not too much work for you? I rely on this a lot, and have to go back to Version 2 because of this. |

It will be there by the time it hits beta. GMMP 3.0 is in alpha. I'll try to work it in one of the next few alphas but i am not dropping everything thats currently being worked based off a request of a single user. The alpha is not meant to be a daily driver which is why it can be installed along side 2.x In the software development world alpha and beta are completely different which is why I stress using the right term as to temper expectations. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle#Stages_of_development |

i would not be surprised if the amazon unlocker does not work since they change the signature of it. The google play version and the one bought through paypal work fine tho.
no clue what you mean by "you dont think there is a search bar missing"
no plans on adding thumbnails for tracks

Hi Kyle, I was just wondering if the "wrong audio playing" error I've been experiencing with these alphas is still being worked on, or if you needed any additional info or something (https://trello.com/c/6gUKSgIl/699-next-audio-source-not-always-set-correctly). I've been able able to consistently reproduce it using the settings I noted on 6/6 (http://gonemadmusicplayer.proboards.com/post/5211), but your latest update on Trello is from 7/11 and it says that you can't reproduce it.
I just tried a data wipe and new scan in the newest Alpha 3 and the issue persists. I test it with the same set of tracks because they are short, but I've been able to reproduce it with any tracks I try. My library us almost 10,800 tracks, if that helps.
Other than this issue, I can't think of any other bugs I've been having with the alphas that I haven't reported. Once ratings support comes, I will try to make the alpha my only music app to see what else I can find.
