Hey there - the new APKs work - thank you! Only quick thing I could find - on the Effects screen, where the dropdown shows all of the presets ("Normal", "Techno", etc.) - the dropdown doesn't work (or it's empty or something)... I like the new "advanced settings" - should really help out those who want a "quick and dirty" media player, and those who want to tweak EVERYTHING! Eckless

Many thanks New download works.
Found an error if I select theme material dark the font in the views (Interpret,Titel etc.) is white. Perfect. If I change now the primery color, the font everywhere change to black - dark font on dark background is illegible

There's another error: After changing the Base Theme, I can't go back to the main interface. It crashes when I try to leave Settings. And thanks for the new version! Now I can use this as my primary player since the scrobbling is enabled. Oh! And thanks for that "TestOnly" installation error too lol. It helped me learn some new adb stuff.

so far it looks like any of the settings related crashes are due to a bug in the android support preference library. Some of the preferences are dependent on another setting to determine whether it should be enabled or disabled.. for whatever reason im seeing errors where it cannot find the dependency.. despite it being the preference right above it

Eckless thanks. wasnt able to reproduce that one specifically.. but there is definitely an issue with the eq/effects screen when you jump to now playing then go back to effects. Was posted in one of the first 2 pages. I havent been able to figure that one out yet and yea one of the big complaints i got about gmmp in general was that it was too complicated.. so thats the big reasoning behind the simple / advanced prefs.

Dude, There's something wrong with scrobbling. It doesn't scrobble or notify now playing track to last.fm after the first track of a queue. It does however notify the now playing track, only if I pause and play again. But even then it doesn't scrobble. I use Simple Last.fm Scrobbler and it works perfectly fine with 2.x and other players.

according to my last.fm profile, i was able to fix the scrobbling so that should end up in the next update. GMMP was not sending info on the new song when it would do an auto transition to the next track. Manual track changes or hitting play/pause were the only things sending updates before
