Since the above post/problems I have factory reset my device and the problem has not reappered as yet - the 12a release seems pretty good though I do occasionally still have the problem of terminating the app (though my FiiO has the option of running a limited version of Android that terminates all but essential features apart from the default FiiO player - going into this mode kills GMMP) but that's not an issue for me. What I have noticed though is that the search results only show a maximum of 5 artists/albums/songs/etc. in each category regardless of the number of categories chosen - I'm guessing this might be a deliberate move to prevent the alpha version being a full repalcement for the current bought version of GMMP or is it a bug? One other issue is that it appears to be missing an option to clear the Queue - exiting the app doesn't seem to work and rebooting sometimes works. Something in the last hour that I did cleared the Queue but I cannot seem to replicate it (numerous exts/reboots).
Great version - and a nice layout too - I've not actually bothered to reinstall the old version of GMMP that I bought as the 'Composer' field addition is working very nicely for my Smart playlisting needs.

click enter on the search and it will show all results (or 100. .something like that). Its a live search until enter is hit for performance |

i did some experimenting and it looks like with large libraries.. limiting the query to 100 or 5 took the same amount of time.. so i just upped it to 100 for all

Multiple composers only picks up 1st in m4a files works fine with mp3 files
