Then what's the point of all this? Moreover, it is not free, I bought the player back in 2013, but I don’t see any changes, except for the appearance. The cover is not fully displayed.

Then what's the point of all this? Moreover, it is not free, I bought the player back in 2013, but I don’t see any changes, except for the appearance. The cover is not fully displayed. you paid for the app, as is, at the time you bought it for a few dollars. What you paid for was my thousands of hours of work. Updates are not guaranteed and certainly not part of the money paid for the app. gonemadmusicplayer.blogspot.com/p/changelog.html There is a list of all the changes since 2013 (well all the changes since 2.2.5.. there is another 12 updates since then + the alpha updates) that I have done for free. Stop your whining. As for the cover since 2011 you have been able to change how it displays through the album art scale type setting in 2.x and in 3.0 you will just have to deal with it since the 3.0 beta. I regularly test on 10 or so devices and the album art all displays fully on them. I'm aware some might not be perfect but its an alpha and UI tweaks are not my priority. Now keep this thread on topic about the alpha. Thanks

When will hi-res support, when will there be a normal display of the cover? What you do is complete nonsense, you are at least three years behind. So far, the full trash, even the second version is better. First off, please articulate what you are trying to say. Certainly your maturity improved since 2013, yes?. Hi-res? The player does support lossless file types like wav and flac. Please tell me what do you mean by "Hi-res", and how does it pertain to you? Do you get your music from youtube to mp3 or something and convert it to flac? That does not make the audio quality any better. Or do you download big files for music and not notice a difference in audio quality? As for album art, do you mean that big images that are in high resolution (like bigger than 1000x1000) display in a lower resolution or something? Maybe your images are low res or you are downloading low res images from the internet or something. Please show us examples of what you are trying to say. What you are saying has no value besides tiny little nitpicks. annoyances. Give us proof, like device models and images. That is all.

i like the cut of your jib bluesynth And you! Get back to work! I'm just messing. Keep up your hobby/job since I'm sure it pays off. I bet the end result of this player will be platinum-tier in my book.

Could you add the rating on the Now Playing screen (like in 2.x) in a an alpha build in the rather near future? Or is this planned in a different stage? It's the only thing keeping me on 2.x so far. Best greets

OK, my Equ Presets have gone. They've done that before, and i am sure I got them back with the advice on gonemadmusicplayer.proboards.com/thread/980/happened-default-equalizer-presets but I can't find that reset to default anymore. Am I missing something? Still a really nice player - I alternate between the, just released PowerMAp, and your Alpha, and whilst your Alpha is still missing stuff (which is the point of an alpha) the look and navigation is, IMHO, better.

So far, the full trash, even the second version is better. I've been following the alpha updates for some time and am happy to participate in the development of this app. I have it installed on my G6 for testing, as well the current release 2.x platform for stable daily use. In both versions album art displays as expected. If the release version of 2.x has any reported bugs, the developer has posted updates to correct those. Otherwise it works as expected. When 3.0 is ready for release I am pretty sure that will become the new standard. But why rush something to release when it isn't ready? I would expect more complaints would arise from that. Why not use the time to provide some constructive feedback that the dev can use?

I have been using GoneMad Music Player for more than a year. I paid for the Unlocked version. I use the GoneMad Music Player on Android Auto (on Android version 9 on Xiaomi Mi A2 Android phone) in my car. It has been great except for one anomaly. I configured the Effects->Equalizer and I saved the configuration. After some time (e.g. a few hours to a few days), the Effects->Equalizer settings are all reset to zero, even though the Equalizer is showing the name of the saved configuration. I have to select Default (Flat) and then my saved configuration to set the Equalizer again.
Is this a software bug or a system issue? Have you encountered such an issue before?
