Sorry, is there any plan to support local network shares or DLNA? That would be great to have. And maybe, can you make Play Store understand I'm using a beta which is newer than the version it offers me to update to? I have to stop the upgrade every time I'm mass-upgrading apps.

yea previously i've just been increasing the number by 1 (and switching back between the beta and whats on the play store), so thats why it shows there are updates. i'll do a bigger increase for the next beta so it shouldnt happen again (i dont think there will be anymore play store updates until 1.4.. trying to get it finished by christmas)
network shares and dlna will probably be addressed at some point in the future.. nothing scheduled as of yet. I have a multiple tb share/server in my apartment so it definitely would be a feature i'd make use of

Thanks, really looking forward. Now I have to rely on other buggy or incomplete apps, and I still haven't found a way to stream flac files.

if you are rooted i believe there are apps to mount remote shares on to your device. Once mounted gmmp would be able to scan it and play. I have never tried it but there are some users that use this method

I have my network share mounted and it works really well.
The scanner needs a long time to scan all files over the network, though; but I have a trick!
I have all files backed up on a 2nd drive. I plug it into my Nexus 7 via USB and mount it at exactly the same point in the file system as the NAS would be (of course, the latter has to be unmounted at that time). So 1) I can scan the media library really fast, and GMMP can't see when I serve it the NAS folder instead; and 2) at home I can conveniently use the NAS, and on the road I take the external drive with me so that I have the same possibilities to access my music! Very handy! (But only for people who know what they are doing and know about rooting and mountpoints etc.)

Thanks, updated Italian translation was already there, hope there'll be another beta to check strings as well. By the way, do you think it's going to be hard to implement custom bt headset actions like double/triple volume press? Or is everything there already and you just need to set events? Sorry, mostly curious about that (and DLNA/network access, RockPlayer 2 added that recently but it's an app I don't fancy and FX file manager implements a nice network discovery and access, if you want to check that) and not that much into smart playlists.

i saw that earlier but just forgot to add it.. there is going to be a RC with the translations so you can do any tweaks before the final
the double/triple presses was something that had to be custom written but im sure i'll be able to reuse some of it. .it wasnt anything too complex.. just something to detect how many presses were in a certain period of time
DLNA is not going to be anytime soon unfortunately.. i've had 1.4 and 1.5 planned out for probably over 6 months so that stuff has to get done before anything new (thats major of course) can be considered
edit: thanks for getting to the translations so quickly!
