the issue with the notification controls not hiding should be fixed in 1.3.3 Yes, I can confirm this: notification curtain rolls up and GMMP appears. But I still have album art (and album art background) not changing, even though I locked orientation to portrait. Still couldn't logcat the BT call interaction with GMMP, I promise I'll do that ASAP. By the way, can you add notifications in lockscreen player? I don't want the original notification curtain to be accessible (I know we can do that in GMMP), I only want to see the same icon in the notification area reported in GMMP lockscreen player (don't have to be active/clickable, just a visual notification replicating the original one): this way I'd just turn screen on to check, now I have to unlock GMMP lockscreen player to see notifications.

Any way to create a photoshopped image of what you would like?

also if the album art / background issues popped up again after downloading the last update.. you should do an uninstall / reinstall. It kinda sounds like your device has issues upgrading because i havent touched the album art loading code in awhile so 1.3.3 shouldnt introduce any new issues regarding that

Ok, gonna create a quick mockup to show you what I mean in lockscreen player. EDIT: this is how it should be (I beg your pardon, I'm at work and I used Paint! ): icons on the left should be mandatory, maybe you can put an option to show left/right side or both. And this is where it should get the notifications from. About album art not changing, this ain't something new for the latest update: I keep having that not changing, now you see I don't have anything showing. And a new question: why do I get the first song of the playlist I choose (let's say I long tap on a folder and press Play) to play twice and then it actually starts shuffling like I set? And why does that always have to start with the first song when I select shuffle function? Can't it shuffle first song too? 2nd EDIT: may I give you a couple of FLACs which actually makes GMMP hang and force close?

Turn off the full screen setting under lockscreen player and you can see the icons
I have not seen any instances where the first song plays twice yet, but when shuffle playlist is on.. selecting a folder/album should pick a random song to start with and not always start with the first one. I'll have to play around with it. What version of android are you running?
Yea email me any tracks that are causing issues

Turn off the full screen setting under lockscreen player and you can see the icons Yes I know about that but this way you'd have an interactive notification taskbar even when locked, and that isn't good both for privacy and mistapping prevention. That's why I asked you about static icons in lockscreen player. Not crucial, that would just avoid you to unlock lockscreen player to see if you have any new notification. at what point does the album art stop changing? Does it only load once until you exit or something?

Still have to pinpoint how that (doesn't) work: sometimes art's not changing, sometimes it doesn't even load (see screenshot). Hope I'll find the MO. EDIT: I hope you see I'm giving you karma/point/exalts, in place of saying a plain thanks which would only pollute the thread!

thanks. It seems some of the files you added were not scanned into the database. Do you run a scan when putting new music on your device? The file browser will show new files without scanning them (and will actually auto scan if you open the folder in the browser), but many of the features of gmmp rely on the file be scanned into the database. I know album art is one of them (it is supposed to work fine even if the song isnt scanned but i guess there is a bug with that)

Nope, I usually let GMMP do all the work: gonna make a proper scan ditching old infos and report back about that, unfortunately I'm fiddling with my Flyer so I can't try right now.
