I've done more test and if i press netx twice quickly in the car remote button the song info appears correctly but of course I jump 2 songs.
it's very strange

Nobody can confirm it or nobody has read it? GoneMAD, have you found any reason for this behavior (at least in my case)?

Since upgrading my S4 to Android 4.3 track info has stopped sending via bluetooth to my car (Mazda 3). This issue is not limited to GMMP as it appears to affect all music players other than the stock one that comes with the device. have done a little searching on this and it sounds liek Samsung have implemented AVRCP in a odd way?? www.beyondpod.com/forum/showthread.php?1840-Missing-Metadata-on-my-Galaxy-S4-after-upgrade-to-Android-4-3The above link is to another app that seems to have a bit of info about the issue that sounds the same. I am wanting to move to GMMP from Poweramp as much prefer it. Only thing that is stopping me buying GMMP is this issue. Hope you can help Cheers R

The 'hack' approach mentioned in this forum post is always done in GMMP.. regardless of the settings. This approach is to just send out intents like its the stock player. GMMP also uses the lockscreen music controls to do it the official way (prefs -> general -> lockscreen -> uncheck ICS music controls if its checked)
its unclear from the forum if anyone has gotten metadata to show in s4 4.3 update?
I can only think of 2 things.. when using both methods there is a conflict and its causing nothing to be sent.. or samsung just completely messed up avrcp.
Does poweramp send the metadata correctly?

Poweramp doesn't send the data either. Only the stock Samsung player does. I have also tried N7 and power player and all have the same issue. SSo it does feel like something Samsung have broken.

Hello, with my Samsung S5 mini, Android Version 5.1.1. The track infos are not send to my OEM bluetooth car radio (2015 Kia Sportage) ICS is unchecked. Track infos are availible with Samsung Player, but not with the gmmp (unlocked).
Any help would be appreciated. Thx

"ICS is unchecked."
check it.. you get prompted saying metadata might not display correctly if its unchecked
