Using GMMP v3.1.3 on a Galaxy S20 with Android OS11. Previously using 3.1.3 on a Galaxy S8 and OS9.
I have all notifications disabled. Both in Android Settings > App Notifications and in Android Settings > Apps > GMMP.
Yet whenever I play music (and stop/exit GMMP) and pull down the notification bar, GMMP is there showing track information from the current (or last) song I played. I can get rid of it by swiping to the right, but the next time I restart the phone (even without using GMMP again) it reappears.
I already use a widget to show me what's playing and I really don't need this notification. How can I disable it permanently so a) it doesn't appear while playing music, and b) it doesn't reappear when I restart the phone?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply and the link. I will give it a look later today and hopefully will find a way to disable it.
I really dislike it when an OS takes such control over simple things like this and thereby prevents the developer from making it an option.
