I'm brand new to GoneMad, and I'm having trouble figuring out to achieve my preferred playback order. It looks like I installed a very recent major update, as many of the help topics that I thought answered my question refer to elements in the UI that no longer exist or have moved to where I cannot find them.
I have a playlist that I use for listening while working. I want to be able to have the playlist start with a random album, play the entire album, and then continue with another random album.
Near the end of the day, I want to be able to finish the currently playing album, but not move on the next one. With other players I have used, this usually involves several manual steps to reset the queue with just the albums starting from the track I was on. Ideally, I'd like to be able to do that and continue from my play position in the current track, but I'm used to manually seeking to my approximate position when using other players.
I found the Album Shuffle feature, but that works on the entire library, so I am getting, for example, albums from my Christmas collection, which I don't really want.
Is this style of playback possible with GoneMad? If so, how do I do it?

Playlists have no concept of albums, its just a list of songs/files. If you want to play an album you will need to use the library views or set up a smart playlist that only lists the music you want (usually easiest to just set up a rule pointing to a specific folder)
Regardless what you describe (playing specific albums on random based off some criteria) is not something possible in gmmp. You can play tracks on shuffle based off criteria, but not entire albums

Thanks for the response. Looks like, at this time, GoneMad is not going to work for me, but it is very close. If the Enqueue shuffle option from the playlist had a way to shuffle at a grouping level, it would have all the essential features for me.
