Displaying in Bold the now playing song custom metadata goes against the whole aesthetic of the app. Why not just set it with the ui color, I think it's enough and can be perfectly differentiated from the rest of songs. Thanks. The very first post in this thread explains the options for formatting the metadata display formats. You can use these along with the scripting examples to display the details almost any way you want. |

Thanks. edit: im guessing you are referring to the highlighted track. it was a choice i made since the UI color alone is not enough to differentiate it being highlighted depending on the colors of your theme. GMMP defaults to using the dynamic theme which choosing color from the artwork. Sometimes white or closer to white is chosen and its hard to tell remember i need to make UI choices that work for all combinations of options.. which can be non ideal in some situations. That's the downside of having an option with the customization that gmmp has |

I have three suggestions that could make this app even better than Spotify:
01. to allow users to choose how to see the songs in their browsing: minimalistic (no artwork), compact (with artwork) or standard (also with artwork)
02. Do not display the name of the album right above the album artwork, just put it in the album details, E.G.
Artwork
Album name
Album artist
album year · duration · Total songs
03. In every artist page, display also the five most played songs of their respective artist, beside all albums and all songs.
I have these suggestions for future GoneMAD versions maybe, Thanks

You are literally posting in the topic about customizing how things are displayed. There is a preset for no metadata at all if you scroll down "03. In every artist page, display also the five most played songs of their respective artist, beside all albums and all songs." No plans on doing that. Would require a pretty large redesign which i do not have time for |
