Hi...I have playlists where I use crossfade and it works beautiful, mostly.
For certain tracks though it just doesn't kick in. They play all the way to the end before it switches to the next track.
All are mp3. How can I diagnose and hopefully fix this?
Thank you

gmmp will not crossfade between tracks that are a different sample rate or channel count (mono / stereo). I would guess thats the issue. You could confirm by checking what the sample rate / channel count is on the files

Thanks you are always so prompt and responsive! You are correct - its sampled in 48 and everything else is 44.1. This may be a stupid question but...is there anything I can do about that? Can I change the sampling rate of that track somehow?

you would have to resample and encode the file again which would lose a lot of quality unless it was a lossless format. something like ffmpeg would do the job but that is not exactly the easiest program to use
