its showing up correctly on the few phones i have on my desk. My guess is the small display and the keyboard raised is smashing it all together. I"ll have to see if there is an option to let the dialog scroll when there isnt enough space Np, I can cope . I guess a lot (the vast majority?) of your users will be using a phone rather than a dedicated DAP/DAC.
FYI here's some info that might be of interest: Display size 3.97 inches
Number of colours 16.7 million colors Resolution 480×800
Pixel density 233 ppi

whats odd is visually it looks like there is plenty of room to render correctly. Thats an old 5.0 device too isnt it?

I guess a machine that was released in 2017 could be described as 'old' . They did use an old Android 5.1.1 build (of course that could be part of it)

Regardless of the hardware they put in something its still going to be restricted by the android version. 5.1 was released in 2015. Thats definitely part of the problem.. also if im not mistaken didnt they make a bunch of custom modifications to it as well?

Can't delete lyrics right now. When removing the lyrics and saving the lyrics remain. I found the Problem with the file: The file had a tag "UNSYNCEDLYRICS". When i changed lyrics in GMMP, GMMP wrote the new lyrics in the "LYRICS" Tag and correctly displayed that tag. When blanking the Lyrics Tag in GMMP, GMMP only cleared the LYRICS and not the UNSYNCEDLYRICS, so everytime i deleted the Lyrics GMMP showd the UNSYNCEDLYRICS again. When filling in a space, GMMP correctly showed the lyrics tag as empty (even if the UNSYNCEDLYRICS tag was still present). Don't know how you could fix this behavior, but i guess this won't affect many people or files at all. Maybe just ignore the UNSYNCEDLYRICS Tag? Or clear both tags when blanking the lyrics via gmmp? Greets

Greets ahh good to know. Probably gmmp should remove both tags when the user explicitly clears the lyrics in the tag editor. I'll add a bug to the list but i think based on how gmmp reads lyrics it may be a bit difficult to do in the short term. Tag reading is done via the audioengine and it only exposes a single lyrics field to the rest of gmmp. The tag reader will check one lyrics field first and then just fall back to the other if nothing is found, but it will only writes lyrics to the LYRICS tag GMMP 3.0 is built on the same old audioengine so it does have some limitations due to poor design choices years ago (choices that made sense at the time because gmmp's feature set was much more limited). I would like to rewrite the engine eventually but thats years away.

Yes no Problem, the space & save works as a workaround (or manual removing of the tag) and I don't think many files got this UNSYNCEDLYRICS tag at all. Btw I'd love to get the 'Randomize' queue back as the small button like in 2.x

Hi all, Very nice work ! I've tested today and it seems very good. I am a long time user of GMMP and MusicBee sync (with musicbeewifisync) and it was working well with 2.x in two-ways sync (return also ratings). I dont see in beta the option to display star rating directly to main screen (like GMMP2 did) and i cannot sync with musicbeewifisync, but i guess this is normal as in beta stage =) Nice job anyway !

Yeah, they did seem to implement a degree of customization (including an optional 'Pure Music Mode' that limited you to a very stripped down Android with just their player, wifi, and bluetooth running)

When opening a file from other apps, e.g. an file explorer, it happens often that on the first opening gmmp doesn't open or play the file. Then you have to open the file again to make gmmp play it.
Edit: This seems to happen only when GMMP got closed. (So the first file which gets opened after closing GMMP has to be opened twice)

Hey GoneMAD, I love the new features in the last since Beta Start. Especially the dynamic UI that I suggested I have 2 issues: Issue 1: for Black and White Albums, the stars (accent color) are too dark although "prefer vibrant colors" is enabled. Issue 2: If I go to "Jump To playing" -> Artist, I have a desc sorted by rating view of all songs from an artist. My issue is, that sometimes, but not always, tapping on the songs does not play them. (But skipping to them in the "now Playing" view does work!). See: imgur.com/a/KqcEg6zKeep up the good work.

accent color is getting a bit brighter in the next update. Min brightness of 80% on the color
i dont understand your second issue. How are you playing them in now playing? Is it just enqueuing what you selected?
