We use this app to "DJ" on a bal group - we don't care for fancy mixing or anything, just choosing the right songs at the right time, and cueing them (the feature to prevent playing songs while another is playing, and instead cue them, on touch, makes a tablet usable as a playback device)
If a split audio cable could be used, and a "preview" option on the media browser allowed to listen to the song while the cue is running on the "main" channel, it make this even better for a use such as ours.

dont believe its possible to do that on android (route audio to 2 different destinations) and even so gmmp's audioengine only has a single output

It is not - all current DJ apps on android/iOS use left/right channels with a stereo splitter cable. This is a common practice (even in lowfi setups on laptops) as on large PAs, stereo is often not essential. I meant using the left/right stereo signal to do this, not 2 actual separate audio outs.

the 2nd part of my last comment still applies, gmmp's audio engine only has a single output (meaning it can only output a single track at a time)
