i can look into adding support the next time the audioengine is upgraded. I want to say there was a specific reason gmmp does not support it since i definitely have looked at it before. i just dont recall what that reason was

Hey there,
AIFF support is only down side of this great player I have found so far. AIFF is a very widely used format in the DJ community as a number of websites including Beatport use this format for purchased downloads.

I finally figured out the tracks missing in my database stats are all .aif or .aiff files that are in my library. Not urgent, but is this still planned for the audio engine update in the future? I see the card in Trello but looks like it has not been updated for some time.
I may convert these files to another lossless format for now, at least for my mobile use. But info have more than I thought.

i just moved it under the 4.0 group on trello. An engine rewrite is something i eventually want to do but who knows if i'll ever get to that point. 3.0 has taken 3-4 years
