Does anyone have any tips about managing a large music library with GMMP? I recently deleted a lot of the music I have on my phone so that I could slim down the number of albums appearing in the Albums tab.
Most of the time I want one of the short list of 20 or so albums that I listen to most often, but if I have everything in my library I have to scroll past 20 AC/DC albums alone. . . but sometimes I'm glad those are there because I want to listen to one.
I know I can limit my library to certain folders, and then use folder browsing to access everything else. If I want everything to appear in folders view I then need an extra copy of everything that I have appear in my library.
Is there another way of doing something like this? I guess ideally I would like to be able to tag albums as favourites, and have a favourites tab where only those appear. Or a way to switch between two libraries, a full one and a favourites one.
Any thoughts?

The only thing i can think of is only using the folder view and ignoring the library views. Make sub folder for your top albums and then another folder for the rest of your collection
There is an album filtering feature but that only filters based off album length or number of songs in album (it also can be a fairly large performance hit depending on the size of the library)
