I looked through the Trello board and didn't see any of these mentioned here so I thought I would go ahead and post them.
--ability to set position of tag area, album art, media buttons and seekbar on now playing screen.
So if I wanted to have the album art above the tag area or any possible combination of ordering of those elements on the now playing screen I would be able to set those either in a menu or by going to a skin editor and drag/drop the elements where I wanted them.
--option to customize the action bar text on a per-page basis.
For example, I might want to remove "now playing" from the now playing page altogether and have %ps% of %tt% centered, bolded instead
--option to set bold text globally in app (respecting now playing font settings)
I'm also looking forward to a few other things that I already upvoted on Trello.
Thanks for making such a customizable player. I'm such a tweak hound and the more options I have to play with the better.

another example of this would be to have the current selection shown instead of a static "artist", "album", "genre" etc. So if I were to enter the artist page the title text would say artist but once I select an artist, it would change to their name. if I select an album it would change to that album and so on.
This would be in addition to the ability to set custom tag info on the now playing action bar.

i dont plan on making any updates to the holo themes or current material themes. GMMP 3.0 will have a completely new UI designed to leverage all the nice UI features they added in 5.0+. GMMP's current UI is in essence a reskin of the original UI designed back in the froyo/gingerbread days. The best way forward is to just start from scratch, but i will keep your suggestions in mind

That's cool. Just the ability to control what shows up where would be cool, or the ability to create your own skins from scratch or edit one based on another one.
