Actually pre-load didnt fix it, now tried 1, 5 and 10secs. Maybe different issue? the reason it happens is the same (the next track doesnt get set) There is most likely more than one way to cause it. Preload to 0 was one of them. It should be fixed in my current baseline which I hope i can get released tonight. Trying to finish up cue support first.

any other major issues you guys are seeing? I do think i'll be able to finish up cue support late tonight and get beta 3 up for download.
cue support is turning out pretty nicely. If a cue file is present, that is scanned and populated into the database instead of the single mp3 so the full album with all the tracks show up. You can also play single songs and move them around with non cue files in the playlist

yeah had a major crashing day yesterday, constant ''Unexpected error crashes'', player crashing and device rebooting randomly. You should have received a couple of reports. Gmmp became so unusable i had to uninstall, reinstall 1.2.5 then back to the first beta. Day off today, will keep a closer eye an any problems today.

any other major issues you guys are seeing? Not really major issues, but rather two minor ones. I've got a Galaxy Nexus with 4.0.4. 1. I have noticed that sometimes the native Android 4.0 lock screen controls don't show up when GMMP is playing (it just shows the normal lock screen). I can't reliably reproduce it though, so it's probably hard to track down where the problem is 2. The GMMP lock screen is always preempted by the 4.0 lock screen. Sometimes I'll see it flash quickly, but then the Android lock screen quickly covers it up. FWIW, I had this problem in the previous stable version, too, I just never really used the GMMP lock screen. Thanks!

I had a request to disable the ICS lockscreen so im going to add an option for that. GMMP doesnt actually create it.... it actually just gives the OS the metadata and artwork of the current playing track and it uses it for the lockscreen controls and sending the metadata over the bluetooth.
so you are saying the gmmp lockscreen wont stay shown?

Yeah, I can't really figure out a way to reproduce it so it could very well be just a 4.0.4 issue. Yep. In most cases, it doesn't appear at all. If I turn the screen off and immediately turn it back on, sometimes I'll see the GMMP lock screen for about half a second before the stock screen comes back in and blocks the view of it.

Beta 3: www.mediafire.com/?nvwvophb4z7pz04Skins: www.mediafire.com/?m3iit7k0bel45t6Okay cue support took a big longer than I expected but it should be fairly solid now. There are few bugs left that i know about and some other minor changes like disabling ICS lockscreen controls that I still need to do. 1.3 Beta 3: -Single file cuesheet support (.cue files) -Fixed crash with crossfade and some mp3 files -Changed notification controls layout to fit better -Fixed issue where notification controls album art does not change -Fixed issue where the same track would constantly repeat -Fixed crash on exit -Added support for foobar2000 compatible ReplayGain tags -Fixed issue where the track playing would not match what now playing says is playing -Crossfading now works with bookmarks -Fixed crash caused by running out of memory when loading background album art -Translations updated

okay here are the known bugs im still trying to work out:
-album art can get stretched during transitions. This happens if the current art is a different resolution from the next album art image. This isnt really noticeable if all your album covers are relatively square (or a 4:3 ratio)
-song duration is short by a second or 2 when playing a track in a .cue
-i got a crash report when updating the notification, havent looked into that yet
-shuffle collection will fail when it picks a track from a cue. If you notice album art flickering on for a second then changing.. this is the error that is happening. Assuming you have skip on error, this doesnt affect playback
-if you change the artwork of the currently playing album, the background art doesnt change until the next track plays
other stuff that needs to be added: -scanner option for cue support since a user should be able to disable it. A rescan would be required to apply the change
-option to turn off ICS lockscreen controls
Assuming there are no big issues that pop up, 1.3 should be officially release on google play next week sometime

I had no problem installing beta3 on my Archos 70 250g, what i do often have trouble with is mediafire, where the files are, sometimes the download is not the .APK and i have to try several times before the correct download starts, keep an eye on the notification bar when the file is downloading for the full filename make sure has.APK at end
