how large is your collection? I think the reason it takes awhile is it cleans up the database.. the 5IT doesnt have much ram and the clean process will have to scan the whole database removing any missing links. I could probably put in an option to not do that on delete.. you would be left with entries in the album/artist/song/genre that point to files that are no longer there tho I think it was around this update where you started noticing it: 1.3.6 (07/22/12): New: -Added delete to artist, album, song, and genre views -Deleted songs, albums, artists, etc are now removed from the database after deletingAh...I didn't pick up on that change in the change log. Makes sense. I am good with it like it is. I was just worried that something was wrong. FYI, I just deleted a folder and the dialogue stayed on screen for at least 2 & a half minutes so it must be due to the large library size (150+gb)

If you just use the browser view, the files will be gone.. but the artist/album/genre/song views require the database to be cleaned to remove the files you deleted. That can be done manually in the scanner (press menu -> clean database)

I wanted to confirm the fixes (just experienced both cases): playback stops immediately when bt disconnects and playback stars again after a call. Moreover, IVONA isn't giving issues anymore. Nice, thanks once again for your commitment!
