As someone who just migrated from iPhone to a Nexus 5, I'm loving this music app and have purchased the full license. Would it be possible to implement a way to group albums who have the Compliation tag enabled under the artist "Various Artists," and hide the individual artists in the library list (unless there are other whole albums by those artists)?

The easiest way to deal with compilations is to just to use the album artist tag. If you set the album artist tag to Various Artists for all the songs, the artist view (which is actually defaulted to view album artists and not artists) would then show all the songs under "Various Artist" and the individual artists would not show up. From the artist tab you can hit menu -> artist (or album artist) to toggle between listing the artists and album artists

Here is the info on this flag: id3.org/iTunes%20Compilation%20FlagI did not realize it was iTunes based -- Logitech Media Server treats this flag in the manner I requested above. Currently I do not use the Album Artist tag, but it would be trivial to tag my compilations as such. Thanks for the response! I have two other requests, and don't wish to be annoying. Should I go ahead and post separate threads or maybe hold back for a few days?

At this point any request (unless a small change) goes on the request list, but since that list is really large i cannot really say when i can get to them. The next major release has been planned out before i even started 1.5 (which was 7 months ago). If i get enough requests for something or someone brings up a very good point that I 100% agree would make the player better for all users, then that request gets bumped in priority. Regardless i like to hear from all my users. Feedback is what has shaped gmmp to be what it is today
