working just fine for me. played music with the setting off, opened youtube and played a video and the music still played. The setting does not prevent gmmp from responding to media intents. I'd imagine whatever is pausing the music is doing that

When I disable this toggle on the 2.2.21 version the music doesn't get quieter if notification sound plays. But on the 3.0 it gets quieter

so the bug is with 3.0? You need to post in the 3.0 feedback thread for that (or hell.. at least specify the version). My assumption is every other post is for 2.x. Of course 3.0 will be buggy.. its an alpha

looks like it works fine in 3.0 as well. Turn off the setting in the audio section to obey requests.. play music.. open up youtube and play a video. Music continues to play. With obey requests on it will pause gmmp
